The View from The Lodge at Goose Bay

HuntersThe entire west side of the property backs up to state land for convenient walk out hunting. The area adjoining the back of the property is known to contain Elk, Black Bear, and Grouse. Many White Tail Deer can be seen each day on the property.

ShootersThere is a double trap thrower and clays for your use. There is also an area for rifle and pistol shooting.

Please always shoot in a safe and responsible manner!

SkiersBlacktail Mountain is only eighteen miles away and Big Mountain (considered the new Aspen) is within thirty miles.

Horse LoversThere are many of miles of horse trails and old logging roads to explore. Although we do not allow any use of our horses that we keep on the property, we will provide corals and feed for your horses for a nominal fee. Please give us two-week notice if you are bringing you horses, so we can guarantee feed and facilities.

BoatersIf you have a boat, there is a boat slip reserved for this property in Lakeside just five miles north. There is a public launch ramp next to our dock. If you are boaters just ask for the dock location.

Fishermen The Lake trout in Flathead Lake are huge by any standard. There are several fishing charters and boat rentals available on the lake.


Glacier National Park is a pleasant 45-minute ride away.

Flathead Lake State Park entrance is ½ mile North of our driveway
